Padma Shree P. T. Usha

Padma Shree P.T. Usha, well known as “Golden Girl – Payyoli Express”, is a sprint queen of Indian Athletics. She was born on 27th June 1964 in Kuttali, Kozhikode in the backdrop of Sports fraternity of the State of Kerala. She was married in the year 1991, to Sri V. Srinivasan of CISF and is blessed with a Son.

She is the proud recipient of PADMA SHRI in the year 1985, ARJUNA AWARD in the year 1983 and D. Litt by the University of Calicut in the year 2018 for the outstanding performance on the Athletics Track.

PP.T. Usha has won 101 International Medals in various Athletics Championships held in India and abroad. Between 1982 until 1990, she won 13 Gold Medals at ATF Championships. In the XthAsian Games 1986, held in Seoul {Korea}, she won four Gold& one Silver Medal in the Track & Field events. She won Five Gold Medals and One Bronze Medal in 6th Asian Track & Field Championships held in Jakarta in the year 1985, which is a Record Performance by any Athlete in One Championships..

The Best Moments of her illustrious career was her representing Team INDIA in the Olympics Los Angeles 1984 where she missed Bronze Medal & became 4th in 400m. Hurdles event by a margin of 1/100 Sec. with a performance of 55.42 s. Padma Shree Madhumita Bisht

Padma Shree MadhumitaBisht, well known as “IRON LADY”, is an ICON of “Indian Badminton” in herself. She was born in the year 1964 on the 5th day of October in WestBengal. She is the proud recipient of PADMA SHRI in the year 2006 & ARJUNA AWARD in the year 1982 for the outstanding performance on the Indian Badminton Court. She has ruled the Indian Badminton by winning eight consecutive years, National Championships of LADIES SINGLE. Apart from this, she has credentials of winning nine times, National Championships of Women Doubles & Twelve times, of Mixed Doubles. This outstanding performance makes her different from other Sports Person of Indian Sports fraternity.

Madhumita’s passion for Badminton does not have any limits as now she is training Indian Badminton Team and as well as imparting her expertise to the young talented Boys & Girls in Delhi

Shri Maheep Saxena

ShriMaheepSaxena is a well-known figure of U.P. State Badminton. His credential is well known in Uttar Badminton fraternity. ShriMaheepSaxena was born on 3rd November 1961 in the Industrial town of Uttar Pradesh i.e. Kanpur. After completing his academics from Kanpur itself, he joined the Reserve Bank of India in Kanpur as his professional career in the year 1984, which he continues to date.

ShriMaheepSaxena represented the Indian badminton Team in the year 1980 and was U.P. State Singles Champion for more than ten years from the period of 1978 to 1992. Even while playing as active Singles Badminton player, he qualified to become the Class “A” Badminton Referee. He officiated as Referee in many International & National Championships held in India and started his officiating prowess from IXth Asian Games 1982
